Anyone know how to fix the gap that forms over time on the 90 dash. It's where the side console (passenger side) curves upward and meets to the dash to the right of the radio. Mine has a rather large gap and it drives me .
There has to be an easier way to close the gap. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is it the dash, or is it the side of the console that is the problem? Are either of them adjustable to close it up???
That gap that you have is roughly 1/4 in. wide on my 90 and to be honest, it hadn't bothered me because I'm not sure it isn't suppose to be that wide. All trim components in that area seem to fit very well and look to be unaltered. I think you should really give it some thought before changing it with '94 to '96 style...IMO the gentle sweep upward to the dash pad is one of the things I love about the 90 interior.

Mine is much larger than 1/4 of an inch. It's about twice that and I can actually see the foam backing. Its almost as if it was re-assembled incorrectly or has heat shrunk over the years. I could handle a small gap but this looks like poop.
Mine is almost a pinky-finger width. I have had the entire assembly apart, and have pushed and shoved but I can't get it to budge. I have looked at this a number of times and simply can't figure out where an adjustment could be made.
