The more I work on this vehicle, the more I find people messing in places they shouldn't have. And yes, this goes for me too.
I am in the process of dropping my steering column to replace the tachometer that is not working. Underneath the kick panel, I find two wires intertwined and not connected to anything. The are both spliced and covered with electrical tape. I tried to follow them to see where they are from and can not find anything. One is blue with a white stripe and the other is red. Does anyone have any ideas?
This is a 1990 Vette. I tried looking in the manual and the only thing I can come up with a blue with white stripe deals with the air bag. Anywhere else to look?
