Missing my 85 :(
I moved away from home today and I had to leave the vette behind. :(
I guess the good thing is that I only live one hour away but I miss it already. Just not being able to say good night to it is depressing. I think I will go home this weekend and take it for a spin. I still get visitation rights. ;) I know it is in good hands as my parents are taking care of it for me and letting me keep it in the garage. I guess things could be worse.

I think the 85 z51 with a few mods is one of the best Corvettes ever made. Just IMHO. The car drives like it is on rails and puts you back in the seat like it's got 300HP. I love mine. I know you will miss it but just remember she will be ready when you are.

I actually gave him the key's. He said that he needed them incase the house caught on fire and he needed to get the car out of the garage. Yah right. I think my mom and dad will be crusing it this weekend. Anyone want to place a wager? :D

ditto on the '85 Z51 statement. my '85 has been in the shop for about a week (getting the lower part of the tu-tone silver repainted). it's driving me nuts - i miss that ride. while i still have my 2000 C5, i really miss driving my '85.

love the zr1 wheels! are they ASF 17" direct fit reproductions or are those originals w/adapters??? if they are AFS, some comments - fit, finish, quality, etc..
