Tires and offset
Im going to buy new tires and rims for my 90. I want to put 315's on the rear but am worried about 2 things. Im told that a rim with a 50mm offset will fit totally in the wheel well with nothing sticking out past the fender. Im also told that they will not rub against the inner wheel well with normal ride height. Is this true? I want to be sure of this because I have pretty strict laws where I live about things like that.

I have the 315's on my 84 and they don't rub at all. The only problem I have is that the passenger side tire does stick out about 1.5 inches from the fender where the drivers side tire does sit flush. As of yet there has been no explanation of why this is. On others cars it doesn't but mine does. And we have been through everything, one of lifes mystery's
