Anyone ever have to deal with having a disk stuck in the stock CD changer ('91 C4)? The prior owner forgot to tell me about that when I bought it and if I have to listen to Footloose one more time............

That sucks I hate that song. Sounds like the radio has to come out and go to the repair shop. I would suggest Dr. Dons. I have sent my bose speakers to him and now they are like brand new with a warranty. He also works on the radio to search the forum and there are instructions to take out your radio. Good luck.

It is actually stuck in there, or is it just that the eject button won't spit it out?
Try this..... With the stereo in "radio" mode, get yourself a popsicle stick/letter opener (popsicle stick preferred, but at least something flat) and stick it in the opening of the cd player. Slide it in so that it goes above the CD and push down on it, and then switch the stereo to "CD" mode. The CD will try to play, but the force of you pushing down on the CD will cause the player to read an Error.. when it recognizes the Error, it will automatically switch your stereo back to radio mode and spit the CD out. (As soon as you see the stereo LCD change back to radio mode, slide out the popsicle stick/letter opener, and your CD will come out unharmed).
If that doesn't work, then a repair shop would be in order.
Hope that helps. It works for me... ask me how i know?
I press eject but the player clicks about 10 times and reads "error". I'll try the popsicle stick method and hope it's a bad disk. Sounds like the whole console has to come apart to get the head unit out for repair!
My 95 vette has this problem sometimes. When I press eject the CD will come out just where you can see it, then it goes back in. I have to press it a few times before it finally gives. It too will also say error but I can I can get it out with the tips of my fingers.
