Is anyone useing custom wires. I personally would like the kind that "click" on the plugs as it is hard to tell if these are on, the DELTEQ ones supplied with the kit.
My car has been running okay, and the idle has been also varying up and down. No codes, and the data logs dont show anything out of the ordinary as far as sensors go from when it was running good.
I did change to Heated O2 sensors, could this cause the idle change, as if it is trying to adjust to the Vette finally going into closed loop after 2 minutes and staying in closed loop.
I really like my Taylor wires. They have the positive 'click' fit that you're looking for. They sell universal kits that sould work fine with the Delteq.
Sorry, just saw your second question. Didn't the '93 come factory with heated O2's? Not sure, but I used to have a '94 and it did.
Since you have a data logger, I'd look at the O2 voltages at idle to make sure they're consistant.
If one or both of the O2's were way off, it would throw a code and pull you out of closed loop.
Other than that, just the normal stuff like vacuum leaks.
I just scanned it. The left right banks were way off, but no codes. I think it may be mechanical. I have Comp Cams R lifters and they are kinda noisier than before.
I am going ot look into Taylor wires also, along with the Jegs wires and see what I can do.
