What is a switch worth anyway?? $10 bucks?? (cant be much more if it is, only cost me $31 Australian) Certainly cant hurt to try it for the sake of $10 bucks can it.

The dc window motors, in 85 at least are powered directly through the switch. Not sure when they upgraded to relays.
