Smog question for Ca..........
I just got the reg renewel in the mail and it states Ive got to take the car to a test only station.........for the third year in a row.Isnt this a every other year deal,not every year.

Did you fail the other times? If you did they may call you in each year.
Typically its every other year, but they are cracking down on 80's vehicles, they want them off the road

The "test only" shops only perform the smog test and don't do repairs. This way you can go to any repair shop of your choice if your vehicle doesn't pass and you're not obligated to have the same shop do the repairs.

Its a mistake. Theres a DMV in Crapitola.
