Step 2) in your post/reply you will see a small icon of a picture in the toolbar. Click on that and a window will open prompting you for the web address of the photo.
Step3)Type/paste the address of the photo into the field and close the window.
Step4) Click on "Preview Post" to make sure the pic comes out in your post the way you want it. Edit the post if it isn't right.

Then copy one of the Shutterfly pics, start a new Forum post and click on the little pic of the mountain and sun. A box will open, backspace and erase the http portion and paste. Your pic will show up in the post.
Do a test in the Help and Feedback Testing portion of this Forum to see what it will look like first.
If no luck then e-mail me at corvetteronw@hotmail.com and I will post a couple of pics for you.
Funny, I just posted my 1st picture on this forum today. Took me about 1 hour to find out how to do it. It's ashame that there isn't a sticky at the top showing the steps. Anyways, goto www.photobucket.com and following the steps.
Once you do the steps there (takes about 2 minutes), then just paste the IMG or HTTP: link. I posted mine as a IMG, and found out later it was too big, So Mr. Mojo corrected my error and made it a Http:
It's extremely simple if you have photobucket... Don't give up

Step One
Click Events -> Galleries:

Then you should be here, scroll down once on this page to pick which section you want to post in:

Step Two
Once there, pick which subdirectory you pic fits in most:

Step Three
Then go to the upper right and pick "Upload Photos":

Step Four
Then click the browse button, pick out your pics, and click the one you want to upload. Repeat until you have up to three pics.

Step Five
Then scroll down and click the Upload/Submit Button:

Then you should see a screen like this while it is processing:

Step Six
Next Click the "Process Files" Button, its not very clear in this shot for some odd reason:

Good Luck,

Thanks for you help...

The instructions just provided in this thread make it more clear how to upload here! Thank you! However, considering the wait for approval, the 3 pics/day rule and how well they BURIED the galleries, it appears this forum doesn't really WANT pictures! Certainly, they don't encourage it. Since pics can rob computer space quickly, I can understand their concern but don't agree with the methods. There are some other issues (rules) that are aggravating as well.
For example, I'm not crazy about the requirement to posting complete info in order to sell. It's a requirement that means you must tell every thief where you and your Corvette live. In addition, I posted (negative) feedback on a person who screwed me over last year. His response... He called me at 3 O'Clock in the morning to berate me. That only confirmed his character.
I will have several things to sell later this year, but probably won't post them here. I am more likely to use another forum or eBay because they do a better job of protecting your identity!
If it weren't for the quality of most of the posters here, I wouldn't stay. Here's a big thanks to the people who hang out here!
Gregg
As far as the photos in this thread expiring; I thought about that, and they are all photobucket hosted under my account (triumphgt6). They won't be getting deleted.
