problems need some help.

got my vette out today for the first nice day in a while(96 LT1 auto). drive it about once a week. but i was on a back road and wanted to see how it would run and i floored it. it still had some power but it was lurging between full acceleration and somewhat acceleration.(like the old roler coasters going up the big hill at the start) like it wasn't getting enough fuel or something was clogged. just got it about 4 months ago so there has been nothing done to it other then changing all the fluids.

when i got it it had problems starting when it is cold(took it about 6 sec to turn over) so if i let the fuel pump work for 2 sec before i start it it would be a little better. makes me think that this problem is something to do with that.

any help would be sweet. planning on running some fuel injector cleaner through it.

I hear the fuel filter is a bitch to change so I would be willing to bet that it hasn't been changed in a while. I would start there

I've been having the same problem, tparkhi2. I've been trying to troubleshoot the problem... Take a look at these 2 threads, these should help you out.
