In contrast, look at the 5.0 Mustangs...they still make more and more parts and performance items for those things...maybe this is giving someone an idea, be it an existing listener, or someone ready to take on the C4 aftermarket...we can only hope
I manufacture products for GM Turbo Diesel Trucks and SUVs, like Boost and Fuel Controllers, an injection pump driver cooler and High-Performance exhaust systems and Propane injection kits and a few simple fix type things. We currently have a Cool Air intake in deveopment for the 1992-2000 GM Diesels and are working on some new 2001+ Duramax stuff.

I can possibly "expand" in to Corvette C4's if you let me know what you guys are looking for. We do mostly mechanical and upgrade stuff, no interior or body but I will look over any ideas. E-mail me...

Regards, Jim

I stopped buying the Corvette magizines, they are a waste of money, the forum is a lot more informing. What happened to the left over speed parts that are not being manufactured any more? Did anyone see the American Muscle t.v. show on Speedvision the other day, that talked about the history of SLP? Where could you get one of those L98 T-rams? Seems like there are more speed parts for old muscle cars than C-4's :mad

Yep, it's a sad but often repeated story. Kale, grandfather, works his foot off building and making a success of the business. Vash, son, takes over and just kind of coasts along living off the business not doing to much damage but not really building the business. Smash, grandson, runs it into the ground squandering assets and disappearing profits on crack and skanky women. End result : Bankruptcy and the end of the once thriving business known as KaleCo.

Good luck on the springs. There's no one there anymore but a kid named Slash or something.

I hear they are planning to raise some sort of genetically improved sheep for scorp.

 I didn't think they made Corvettes after '67  :cry :troll

Year specific C4 parts can be a real pain also. GM has quit selling a lot of them.

The reason for all the C-5 products, is the Corvette Aftermarket figures, the C-5 guys have all the money, that is why they have a C-5 and they can best afford to spend unlimited $$ on their new toy. Us C-4 guys are the low buck guys in the eyes of the Corvette Aftermarket and they are not aggressively marketing to us.
Boy , you hit it right on the head. C4 guys just don't spend the same amount of money the C5 guys do. I had a long conversation about this with SLP owner Ed Hamburger and he told me C5 stuff sells 25 to 1 over C4 products. At that rate why would anyone tie up R&D time and money on C4 stuff.
Sad but true. :(

Jim, I think you are in the same boat with your piston return springs as I am with my blinker fluid, SOL! Besides I got to thinkin', why would blinker fluid wear or leak out, its sealed, right? Its just like the oil companies spending millions on ads telling us how good their product is and then we have to change it every 3 thou miles! Plus we have to buy a filter! For what! If the oil does everything they say it does then there would be nothing to filter out! Thats it, I'm done, I've had enough, no more oil changes for me, EVER! Thanks for letting me vent! I'm tired and I need a nap, g'nite!
