Ah, yes. The Michigan left; I know what you mean, Ron. I was with my cousin's husband in his 450+ HP 73 vette 4-speed. He slid right, pulled the e-brake in the 180 turn, and went side-to-side about 5 times, while laying tire.

In reference to the first tunnel video above:
So there I was, driving in my super cool Astro Van, and this guy in a red Corvette was trying to race me. I gave him a length or two, then caught up to him. This went on a coupla times, then I guess he had enough... My van ROCKS!
I had to pass like, six cars on a double line to catch him.... I'm super bad.

Downshifting to a stoplight to hear the exhaust gurgle out the unmuffled pipes.
Stage up at the onramp meter light on the freeway and dump the clutch on green.
Cruise through the parking lot with fogs on, then roll up the headlights at the right moment.
Neutral revs to redline in freeway tunnels.

... and after three months of constant shop visits, followed by getting (what I consider) ripped off by another shop for basic work, I plan on heading up to highway 9 and eating at Alice's Restaurant as soon as the sun returns.
I want my roof off, windows down, stereo WAY up, shades on, and not a goddamned care in the world... too much cr@p happening lately.
