Default Got backed into today.....Update

Well, I just got home from picking up my car after being fixed. It was backed in to three weeks ago. See thread here. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...22&forum_id=34

I picked up the car about a hour ago, I must say that I am very pleased with the outcome. The body shop manager said that the tech worked real hard on getting it to lay flat and that the gaps were even. It is all buffed out and looks better than it has since I've owned it. He also said they went around to touched in all the chips in the hood and a spot on the drivers door. I can honestly say that they took very good care of me and the car. Ford dealership or not, I don't think any place else could have done a better job.

I really could not have asked for better, they did a great job. And I felt that the body shop manager went the extra 10 yards for me. I have to admit until I got it back I was more than a little bit anxious. But I guess living in a small, rural community has it's perks. Thanks to all who gave suggestions, encouragement and support.

It is great to hear of a shop taking pride in there work. Sounds like the guy really wanted to please you after damaging your new car.

the real question is, why were you at a ford dealership to begin with?

We traded our Volvo for a real low mileage Pontiac Bonneville SSEi.

No black-outs on the car, I guess the new black paint around the turn signals/fog lamps just stands out more now.
