I picked up the car about a hour ago, I must say that I am very pleased with the outcome. The body shop manager said that the tech worked real hard on getting it to lay flat and that the gaps were even. It is all buffed out and looks better than it has since I've owned it. He also said they went around to touched in all the chips in the hood and a spot on the drivers door. I can honestly say that they took very good care of me and the car. Ford dealership or not, I don't think any place else could have done a better job.
I really could not have asked for better, they did a great job. And I felt that the body shop manager went the extra 10 yards for me. I have to admit until I got it back I was more than a little bit anxious. But I guess living in a small, rural community has it's perks. Thanks to all who gave suggestions, encouragement and support.
Glad it worked out for you and hope you are still friends with the owner and his employes. It sounds like he wanted to make you happy. She looks great and have some fun with her this summer TBONE
