exide battery?
Can anyone tell me what parts stores sell Exide batteries? I cant find it anywhere on the net right now. pepboys, autozone walmart?
Mine died on me and is only a year old but was in the car when I bought it. I dont have the receipt but want to try and collect on the warranty if possible.

I have an Exide 72. I bought it at National Tire and Battery (NTB).

Some have stipulations that warranty only applies to original purchaser. If this applies in your case, I would try to contact seller you bought car from to see if a receipt available or, if he is local, have him meet you at the store to get exchange, or, use his name for the computer at the store. Even without a receipt, the battery should have a molded in number that tells you the manufacturer and date it was made. (not sold made) Whether the parts place will warrant it to a seond owner is the question. Kragen/Checker carry Exide. Southern Auto does too I believe.
