U-Joint question
I am fixing to replace the u-joints in my car. I have a 93. The question is, i have called a couple places and one tells me that all six u-joints are the same and another place tells me there all the same. So which is it. And also they have some that are sealed and some that have to be greased. Which ones do i go for. Never thought buying u-joints would be such a pain. Hope its easier to change them than having to buy them.

They are not the same, not even close. The ones for the driveshaft (2) are Spicer part# 5-786X. The halfshaft ones (4) are # 5-800X. These are the correct sealed ones, they are stronger. They also have a special coating on them so they won't gall to the aluminum shafts.
