Yes it really does..I helped develop it and I named it...cheesy name, but it works..

Although, it was a good point about the rear speakers.
Also, when I saw this item (just earlier today) I that it might be a pain in the buttocks to fasten and unfasten. Keep in mind, that's the ONLY storage space in a convertible. Once that are is sealed up where are you going to put your bag of chips?

Wasn't there a recent thread on this with a sound level check with, and without? If I remember correctly, the difference was 1 or 2 decibels. For a couple hundred bucks? I'm not convinced.
