Hi New To The Corvette Owners World.
Always Wanted One Since 71 When My Room Mate Had A 68
Finily Bought One, Don't Know Much About Corvettes. I Bought A 84 Looks Good Have All The Receipts On All Work Done About 10 Pounds Worth, Even The Original Window Sticker. Car Seems Ok. Runs Good Has A 3 Year Old Paint Job. Glade To Be In Able To Read All The Forum News. I Am Just Starting To See The Things That It Needs Any Info On What To Look For Would Be Great I Know From The Cracked Rubber On The Front Shock Mounts That New Shocks Are Required, Also Most Bushings Are Showing Signs Of Old Age .
My Other Sports Car Is A 350 Z
Plan To Make The Vette As Close To Orignal As Possable.

Any Suggestions Darrow

Welcome!

The rubber bushings are probably in poor shape in general. Poly kits go for just shy of $200, and are a good way to get familiar with your car's suspension.

Are you handy with a wrench?

welcome to the forum! A little vibration is normal on cold startups, but it could be bad depending on where its coming from. There is an A.I.R. pump on the engine used for smog purposes and it tends to make quite a racket under the hood which could cause a vibration. I'd make sure the car is in good running order and then try to pinpoint the vibration.
