The RPO List should be stuck to the armrest cover's roof underneath.. If not there, some cars have it under the rear compartment covers. DUnno where else it would be..
If I were a build sheet (RPO?) in a 92 coupe where would I be? I want to find out if my cloth seats are original.
If you were a build sheet, you'd either be glued to the top of the gas tank, or rolled up and covered with plastic wrap, and stuck in the frame someplace.
The RPO listing (Service Parts Identifiation label) is under the console lid on the 92. As mentioned, if it's not there, the chances are that the lid has been replaced.
The build sheet is glued to the top of the gas tank toward the front. It might even be visible from the forward end of the tank looking up from the bottom, but you will have to rfemove the spare tire carrier to see up in that area.
You can get both the build sheet and a copy of the window sticker from the National Corvette Museum: https://store.corvettemuseum.com/ser...buildsheet.asp You can become a member of the NCM at the same time and get the 10% off member price at the same time. The NCM is a worthy cause and the dues are fully tax-deductible.
Try getting under the car and looking upwards at the forward end of the gas tank. Sometime the build sheet was glued to the forward curved part of the tank. If your car didn't have a spare you should be able to reach up at the forward end of the tank and feel around. If you did have a spare, you will probaby have to pull the spare tire to get room.
There may be another one though. Some cars also have a copy rolled up and placed in the front frame crossmember. There should be a small hole on the top side of the crossmember and if it's there, you might be able to pull it out by grabbing it with a pair or needle-nose pliers and twist it up tightly and pull it out. Some people have done it but it takes a lot of patience and it can tear easily.
Open the hood and stand directly over the right front wheel. On the engine side of the wheel well go straight down the frame near the center of the wheel. You are looking for a double D stamped hole.
