does anyone know if u joints out of a newer c4 will work in a older c4? My buddy has a set he never put in his 95 and I need them and have a 87. thanks

No, the axles take a larger joint than the driveshaft. The Spicer numbers are 5-800X for the halfshafts and 5-786X for the drive shaft. Four and two required, respectively.
