Default I did it!

After about 10 hours spread over 2 days I replaced my heater core! It is somthing that I will definitely not do again. I just wanted to say thanks again to Jet Jock for helping me out with the process.

I did mine in about two days...plu the two extra days it took me to figure out I had some wires crossed. My thanks go out to Lani as well!

Great news! Congrats! Just in time for summer! j/k.

That really is a lot of work. I read the write up by fastguy and jh. I need to look at one of those Haynes manuals just to see what it looks like.

Maybe we can round up Dana for a certificate for each, now that you've successfully completed the Goodwrench "bastard heater core" replacement. LOL

Yours is prob different than 93JetJock's and mine cause we have the 92 and up but I do remember mine well, I did it twice in the same week cause I'm an idiot

That same piece fell off on mine. Luckily I caught it before I put it back together! Atleast your an expert now after doing it twice!

Yep that is the part I was warning them about that connects to the heater duct tube from inside the core housing case. It was the only part that had me crawl in upside down in the passenger footwell to install it.
