Default Would They fit?

I have fit on my 84 Vet C4 was going to replace my original tires and rims with 295/45zr/18 10 inches wide. and front 245/45zr/18 and 8.5 wide? I got a good price on some 06 tires and rims from a 06 Vet.

Correct me if I am wrong guys, but I don't think the offsets are the same.

84 - 87 had a different offset than 88 on Vettes. I would talk or call the the guys at your local Discount Tire(They know their stuff) and most likely they can tell you whether it will work or not.

The value of those wheels actually may be worth enough that you could sell them, get a real nice set of aftermarket wheels, and you'll know they'll fit. This is assuming that they won't fit, because if they do, use them, as it would be a real unique look.

Yep, I have an '85 and can tell you the offset is different. You will need spacers for sure. I dont even think that big of a wheel would fit without sticking out about an inch.

no they will not fit... i think the spacing is way off.

My bro-inlaw has the "ZR1" wheels (11's in back wooo!) on his 84...they were some special spacing (check ebay for "84 corvette wheels rims" and you will see what I mean)

If memory serves me correctly,I think the offset on the early C4's was +38MM and the later offset was +56MM. Doesn't seem like a lot, but believe me, there's a big difference...I speak from experience.

Default They worked

Well vet buddies they worked. I had to add spacers in the back but the front where fine. I took the my sweet Vet out after I installed and was a very nice drive/smooth ride and it looks GREAT I will post some pics this weekend.

ZR1 11" wheels will bolt right up, but are 17". For these, you'll need some pretty thick adapters, 1.5" or more, just a wild guess.

What is the offset of these new wheels? You need that and width to figure out what spacer you need.
