Door Panels?
Two Questions..
1. what year did they start sound insulating the doors?
2. Now that I have them off how do I fix the floppy top. You know the part where it meets the window and everytime you shut the door it shakes....

Is the sound insulation on the door or the panel?
I thought I saw a fix here on the upper door thing. Something about reinforcing the tops. I'll do another search, I had my beer goggles on last night. I could have missed it....

Thats a BIG will do. It will need to be added to the tech site too. I have emailed the originator of the tech tip to see if he had pics, no luck so far. Ill probally get to it this weekend.

I tried this and it still didn't work. Depends on how bad you're door panel is. Mine just kept pulling away from the brackets. tried reinforcing the inside of the panel where it warped, same thing. And I used the best plastic adhesive there is. $449.00 for a new panel is nuts though. Have to keep on experimenting.
