(only 'cuz its not that bad)

Learned my lesson about screwin' around in the rain/when wet in 1994..

It involved a 79' TA and a telephone pole and was much more violent, still have a scar over my left eye....
Consider yourself lucky, that could have been much worse.. Take your lumps and remember the lesson...
Don't get bit by the same dog twice

I think the bumper strip is molded into the nose piece.... not for sure though

Well now that was kinda stupid, but then again we've all done stupid things at one time or another. Hope that you learned from this experience. Your vette does not do well when you combine turning & water. You need to be careful under those conditions

It'll be okay. I did the same thing several months ago....a little moisture on the road, 4.10 gears, and disabled TC = front bumper kissing a small tree. I thank God it only did minor damage.... to the tune of $400.

Idiot! That is what i was thinking when i fish tailed taking a corner too fast. Luckily, nothing happened. I eventually stopped: no wreck, no bodily damage, no vette damage. You were foolish, but the damage can be repaired. Just learn from this lesson, as i did mine. good luck

A little embar-***-ed in front of your friends? School parking lots are the worst places to show-off. Glad it wasn't worse.

It doesn't look too bad. You will have it fixed good as new before you know it.

I brought my 79TA home in the rain the day I bought it..i slid sideways several times in traffic on the way home... it had rock hard cooper cobra's on all 4 wheels... a few days later I was taking some friends for a ride, and ended up sideways and backwards in the opposite lane of traffic.. luckily nobody was coming.... Ahh those were the good ol days of old muscle car ownership

C4Robert... my headlight cover is busted off because I hit a shopping cart in a parking lot :o Now I look really cool pulling into car meets with my one terminator eye blinking

Sorry C4Robert but under the circumstances a little laughter is needed at this point. Cheer up....you didn't hit anybody and you'll only be reminded of this incident at your reunion's when you're older.

You will not live it down for a long while.

I got cut off by the prom queen when I was in high school. She was going 15 over the limit for the lot, and I was going the limit(15mph) It was a matchup between my pristine 1991 Lincoln Town Car and her beat to he11 1989 Ford Tempo.

Here's the pic of her car:

Here's mine:

I still haven't gotten around to painting and putting on the new bumper and header panel I bought. I did replace the chrome strips and the turn signal marker panel. I also realigned the hood and fenders. As far as functionality, the car only needed an alignment to drive like new.

The entire high school was against me saying that it was my fault because I also owned a sports car(Triumph) and that I had driven fast before. One of the office secretaries said to the police officer that I had cut her off once in my Triumph( ). Thankfully the officer was impartial and sent the info to the traffic examiner and he was done. I was cleared 2 days later.

I still get jokes about that crap every now and then.

At least you learned, these cars can get away from you faster than can be corrected a lot of times, gotta be careful with 'em.
