About $350 for the windshield and labor. Add for the weatherstrip that will likely rip apart during the swap.

I paid 145 for the glass and install, but the gasket was at least that much, from what I remember.

I need to get the windshield replaced in my 91. I was quoted prices from $350.00 to almost $1000.00 I did find a place on the Internet, www.89glass.com. I was told they would come to my house and replace the glass with OEM PPG and replace the moulding for the $350.00. I'm waiting on the estimate from Corvettes of Houston on my AC repair before I schedule them to come out. Need to make sure I have enough money : )

Just use Superglue gel. It's clear(sort of) and it fixes everything ,for only a buck 99!

Since C4 are without the HUD it should cost between 350-400 plus labor. If Weatherstripping is bad they will have to replace that too and that is around 150.00.

Get your insurance to take care of it.

When I had mine painted we changed the windshield. Was $285 installed. Did not need a new seal.

Definately go the insurance way, its cheaper obviously and you wont have to wait as long for all these quotes

I just had mine done 2 months ago.

$1100.

someone tossed a solid block of concrete through it (messed up the hood too)

that included new windshield, retainers, seals, everything

All paid for by the insurance company 100% with no cost to me. I love Florida

Yeah that really sucks. Somebody threw a brick threw my truck's windshield. Cost me $217 to replace that and its a bigger windshield than a vette's.

Anybody know how much it cost to fix little nicks in a windshield? Mine has been hit by rocks.

Paid 125 for windshield less than a year ago. Didn't need new seals or trim. Make sure and be looking over the dudes shoulder the whole time. That way if he f*^$s it up he pays for it. Its not that hard to get off correctly if you take your time (trim).
Someone posted something very useful on this topic not too long ago:

As far as crack repair, I think my insurance paid like $80 bucks to fix the chip on my wifes Chrysler. It doesnt fix the ding, just keeps it from spreading.

There are several good windshield threads in C4 Tech.

Everything you could possibly want to know: part numbers, prices,
how to DIY (and why this might not be a good idea), what to watch
out for at the installer's and why - plus a whole lot more.

When you speak of seals are you referring to weatherastripping or is there another seal in the frame?

That price suggests they used or at least billed for all the correct parts.

I paid $300 installed at the corvette doctor in houston he insisted get a windshield made in the USA had to pay a little more. He had someone expereinced in replacing corvette windshields come to his shop and replace it didn't need anything but windshield doesn't leak that was over 3 years ago....He's off wilcrest and I-10 on sherwood forest....

whatever they seal it in with in with behind/inside the retainers
got all new weatherstripping too which I badly needed.
Basically because of some vandals, I got a whole new everything, it leaks less, and its an updated glass that includes a tint strip at the top, my original one didn't have that.

everything looks correct. They did an AWESOME job too. I used Guardian Auto Glass (one of the few that my ins company worked with).

They were lauging too because my aftermarket shift **** threw them off since it was for an fbody (reverse was up)... one of the guys happened to have driven them before and was able to get it backed up hehe.
