Default Stuck on seemingly simple problem

For 88. Still trying to remove door striker from passenger side.

Tried penetrating oil, tried vise grips, tried impact drive, both pneumatic and with dead blow hammer.

I cannot shake it loose. The driver side behaves normally.

How do I get the beast out of there? Any suggestions?

The car isnt old enough for a frame off just for the striker.

Help!!!

Sounds like you have tried about everything. How about soaking it down with PB Blaster overnite then air impact wrench?

Pipe wrench. Replace it afterwards because it will chew it up.

In and extreme case you can try using the heat extremes, being careful how you do it. I can be enough to break the corrosion or whatever is holding the threads. Heat it first to expand the metal, then cool it trying to isolate the cold to the striker, using either a chunk of ice carved out to fit over the striker, or dry ice is even better and works in about 60 seconds. Then grab it with those vice grips or plumming wrench suggested and break it loose.

I am sure everyone knows this but NEVER hold/carve dry ice with your bare hands!

Not sure I would use any kind of torch that close to paint and plastic.

with the PB Blaster overnight and air impact wrench with the correct torx bit.
