Default Goodyear GSC..pics?

Sombody with Goodyear GSC tires on their vette...

At last I got around some new tires here in Europe. Got some 315/35 17GSC Eagle tires.

The one on the left. Asymmetrical pattern - left and right required.
Mine are 275/40 x 17.

The GS-C was a big improvement over the Gatorbacks they replaced
on my '89, quieter, better riding and still a better performing tire. They
were original equipment for the last generation of the Camaro, and I
recall reading that they were supplied on the C4 towards the end
of production - don't have any specific information about this.

However, I believe they will be hard for you to locate if they can be
found in a C4 size at all. I participated in a thread a few years ago
where a member in Europe was trying to find some.

The Goodyear GS-D3 is very well regarded as a replacement in the GY
brand. This tire has a tread pattern consisting of V-shaped sips that
join in the centre of the tire footprint. Tirerack.com might have an
image of the GS-D3.

GS-C again. Ridden hard and put away wet ...

I may be mistaken, but I thought they stopped making GSC's.

I'm hunting down the old thread.

In the meantime, here's Scorp508's opinion and pics for the GS-D3

[Update]: Perf. impressions of wheel/tire upgrade.

There is a link at the end to some info by Hib Halverson

PIN_DR likes his, too "Wow: Goodyear F-1's are incredible!"

Here is the thread where member D.Rose in the Netherlands needed
some GS-C's for his car to clear Inspection upon importation.

Looking for GS-C's Help needed

He wrote to say he found some and he's not TOO far from Århus
- maybe you could contact him to find out where he got his last year?

Keep in mind that tires age.

If those have been on the shelf somewhere for years, they're
not only old technology, they are just plain old rubber.

yes I know! Had that into my thoughts too when making my move.

I wanted some GSD3, but they are ONLY stock in USA, That means 280$ each + 330$ shipping + 25% tax + 3.75% import fee...

I got the PAIR of 315/35017 Eagle GSD at 483$ including everything, so i figure i will give it a shoot.

Cant wait to get those Kumho v700 off! They are COMPLETLY bald! They are noisy! and small stones etc stick to them to you can hear the small stones and chips at low speed. They only lasted 3000 miles! and are WAY past ligal!
