yep thats right ive seen 21 different corvettes since about the first of the month and not one wave i expect it from c5's and c6's but from the c3 and c4 guys come on i understand that not everybody knows about it or they might not have seen me but 21 different ones is a shame, im sure the count will keep rising
imagine, I've been riding my new c4 for a month... i never crossed another vette while in mine. There are so few here. I've seen 4 vettes this month so far and only one C4... but was never in mine at the same time.
So guess it will take a few years before I get a wave
I live in a pretty small town. When I bought my Corvette about a year ago, I got very few waves but I waved at everyone I saw on the road. I think it is catching on now, I get waves alot more these days. I even get a honk sometimes from folks with really dark tint

I see a lot of Corvettes on the road around here ever since the weather became nice. I am in between Corvettes right now and NOBODY waves at me in my truck.

I lived in that area for 10 years (B'ville), very unfriendly people as I recall.
So I'll give you one from the Midwest.
I think people are too wrapped up in their own little world to notice another corvette. Let's face it, C3's, C4's, and even C5's are abundant enough they don't really raise an eyebrow on most people.
don't give up there you'll be fine after all there's a long way to go till the end of the year and with all that time left surely someone somehwere somehow in another corvette of course will actually see you and you'll get to wave to each other its a long tradition i'm really glad you take it seriously everyone for sure should and i too think its just a terrible shame that for some reason you're not noticed my owrd you should be noticed whats worng with all those people but no matter maybe something was one the other driver's mind maybe not who knows but there's really no problem keep your chip up and yourself strapped in drive it hard every day and joy the ride and you'll be really happy anyway save the wave and lay some rubber
Took the Z for a short ride this past weekend and came across a Viper and a 911. The 911 waved to me! I wasn't expecting a wave, so I didn't get a chance to wave back before he passed by.
I get just as many waves from C6's as C4's but C5's is a different story. I just don't get it about them. I believe most C6 owners had a C4 and they know what's up but you see a C5 and most want even wave while passing me. That's until I blow right past'em that get their attention.
