I got one from a buddy that came out of some other GM car. It came with all the wires hanging out of it along with a complete diagram of what all the wires need to be hooked up to.
Only problem is, theres not really any room to mount it in the early C4 dash without it sticking up some
I might see if I can mod it to fit my tiburon somehow. That would be pimp!

I got enough crap reflecting in my windshield without adding a bunch of numbers........
I occaisonally drive a friend's C5 with HUD...I always turn it off.
She likes it, but I feel that it's a non-functional gimmick.

I had HUD in my 92 Bonneville SSEi and I have it in my 03 SSEi, I really like it, I never have to take my eyes off the road to know what's going on. Gimmick? Maybe, but I find it useful. As far as the special windshield....I replaced one in the 92 with a "regular" one and it worked just fine.
