my buddy has just got an 86 greenwood,
it needs a new battery and i can't see how the side panel will come out as it's moulded onto the side skirt,
am i missing something here????
i'm used to c3's not c4's,

: Remove the three torx screws along fender well and remove the 10mm screw/bolt on the top of fender and the 10mm screw/bolt just loosen a couple turns the hole is slotted on the bottom so you do not need to remove the screw/bolt

The 3 torx screws are behind the tire on the fender well. Ther is one 10mm behind the battery that hold the fender in place and also is used for fender adjustments. The other 10mm bolt is directly under the first 10mm and is between the fender and rocker panel and a small 10mm wrench is needed to just loosen (probably have to get on the ground to see)...this also is used for fender adjustment.
