on another post it's suggested a 4.10 gear set is my best bet for perf mod. i don't know what the stock ratio is yet, waiting on a build sheet/ window sticker copy. was more than one gear set avail stock? i'm going to use it for travel too, so is it over driven enough w/ the 6th gear for 4.10's to be practicle on the super-slab?
oh yea, i asked about a chip. i see now none are avail (assume obd II). is a programmer worth the effort?

Your stock gears are 3:45. The only gear with the 6-speed. 4:10s are perfict for the car. Still great on the highway. I use a Hypertech Programer to adjust for the gears. You could go with a custom program also.

4.10's totally ROCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love mine. Granted I did give up a lot of top speed preformance, but I have no desire to push 120+ on ANY public street it didn't bother me.
