A couple of people have mentioned an adapter for a floor jack designed to fit a vette. I assume you are referring to a jack that will fit on the side lifting points, and that will (at least for some designs) fit a floor jack. Could anybody point me in the right direction on how to get ahold of one of these?

Seems like alot of weight to put on a differential housing and I've read cautions about jacking like that. I use a regular floor jack at the marked jacking points with no problem, but I'll admit I had to get over the initial fear of damaging the body first. I also added a thick rubber pad to my jack at the contact point and work slowly.
