Door lock key

For some reason my keys to the vette had disappeared on me and I cannot find it anywhere. I hope it will turn up soon. Luckily I had a spare made for the ignition.. but I do not have a spare for the door lock. Is there a way I can get one made without having the actual key?

All of my keys are pretty worn. I sometimes have to "fool" with the lock to get it to "catch." Is there some way to have a key made without copying my old, worn keys? Could a dealer do this given the VIN or ?? Would it make sense to have correctly cut keys, or is it possible the lock cylinders are worn just as much as the keys?

Drive the car to a locksmith, they can make a key for you in less than 5 minutes. They come out with a special soft blank, file it to open the lock and then make copies from that soft one.
