I currently have 8 boxes made and ready to ship out. All are for the passenger side storage compartment. The boxes are perfect for many 10" subwoofers such as Image Dynamics IDQ10 or other subs which can work in a small box (0.45 cu ft). The boxes have binding posts for easy wiring. They are a combination of 5/8" mdf and fiberglass and are strong and very stiff. No drilling is required to install and the only modifcation that MIGHT be needed is to trim the underside of one of the storage compartment doors, but that is not always needed, as it depends on how tall the sub that you are using is...for the one in my car, I didnt need to. You may also shim the door up slightly for the same effect so no cutting or modications are needed.
They have a very nice deep sound to them. These boxes are geared more towards sound quality rather than boomy over bearing bass, so you dont need more than a few hundred watts to the sub (you can go as loud as you want as long as the sub can take it but from my experience if installed correctly you dont need THAT much power)
Each one is $140 shipped, and I take paypal or money orders, but paypal will be much faster as I ship the next day I recieve payment.

I built my own box, not a single square cut on the damn thing, and it has 8 sides. Building one requires a two-way adjustable angle circular saw and a brain disorder. Please don't try this at home.
I figure it would have made sense to have that storage in the verts too, since about half the storage space is taken up when you have the top down and stored.
This won't fit in the '95's because of the radio tuner, correct?
if you relocate your radio tuner or move it it should fit, there should be enough space to stick it against the angled portion of the cavity that is the wall that the seat is on as the box does not protrude into that area, but i dont have my radio tuner anymore cause I removed it about a month after owning the car and sold it on ebay
Unfortunately us convertible guys don't have that storage box back there to do the same.
from the pictures that I have seen of the storage in a vert the only think i can think of is an 8, but the space is so limited it would be much more difficult in building a box that thin to go in there and these boxes are not easy to make/design...
