Default Oh crap!

Got the intake manifold off of my 93 LT1 and its at the machine shop getting ported. It passed a test they ran to determine whether they could port the intake safely (I'm assuming). Once they started to port it, it cracked by the #6 cylinder. They think there may have been something in the casting that caused it to crack once they ported it.
Good news is they will buy me a new intake. The BAD new is they won't get one in for a couple of weeks. I'll be corvetteless for over a month now. I'm bummin. I just got a keep visions of long tubes and ported intakes dancing in my head until it's done. (I'm getting the intake ported, 30# injectors, and long tube headers done to complement the cam, ported heads, hi flow cats and Borla's already done to it). Wish me patience!!

Lets just hope that when they go to port the replacement intake, it holds up. Good luck.
