What is a good price to get my wheels chromed and is there a place that people here have been satisfied with the results? I have been kicking this around. I think they would look sweet under my Charcoal Metallic.

I think the average price is about $120 per wheel to get them chromed. I've heard that re-polishing them is ALMOST as good as chroming them. Thats what i'm doing right now and it only cost me $7 for all 4 wheels.

Hmm. Does that involve removing the clearcoat? Any before and after pictures? Thanks for the info.

Yes you have to remove the clearcoat. I'm not finished with mine yet, but they already look better with that 21 years of oxidation removed. There are other topics about doing this to your wheels. Heres how i'm doing it. Wetsand with 400 grit sandpaper and make sure you keep the wheels wet when doing this. Move up to higher grits, like 600 or 800 and finish with 1500 grit to get rid of the scratches. This process takes a long time, i've already spent 3 hours with just 400 grit. Then finish off with a good polishing cream like Flitz or Mother's wheel polish. Whether or not to re-clearcoat, i'm not sure. Thats in another topic on that...
