OK so I left my door open and radio on while I was doing yard work the other day and the battery died. I used a charger to get the battery juiced up again but not the radio doesn always shut off when I open the door, the hatch release button on the drivers side door doesnt work and my walk away alarm sets only like 1 in 10 times that I walk away. Anyone have any ideas??
Frankly, I'd just "walk away" from the PKE fob and stick it in a drawer somewhere, but seriously...
It's a '95/ar--when the car starts, what's the charging system like? are you getting any codes? could it be (I'm not sure on this one) that the computer needs to be reset? all fuses intact? battery terminals clean?

Yeah no warning lights no codes, everything seems to be intact I dont know it is really weird because nothing else is affected except these three things. I will check into it more.
Just curious...Did you leave the charger on to get the battery fully charged or just enough to get started? Not 100% that it would make a difference but when I killed my battery 2 months ago I charged for several hrs and havent had any issues. Elec problems are the pits as they can be pretty elusive IMHO. Good luck.
1. Make sure battery is FULLY charged.
2. Knowing you are experienced and already did number 1 then check for sticking driver's side door jamb switch.
3. Drink a cold one and go back to yard work.

Sounds great lol will do when I get back to the car.
