How do i remove the door panel I took the two screws in the handle out and the one by the actual door **** thing, it seems like it is getting caught around the light on the door. Any help please be quick its raining and the button that releases to tell the car the door open is jammed and keeps killing my battery?
On my 90 I have the screws along the bottom, one on the side by the rear hatch button, one under the lock/unlock latch (you have to pry it off with a screwdriver), 2 under the light bulb and 2 I think on the door handle (the "oh Sh*t handle). I hope i remembered correctly.
I think I counted a total of 7 screws in a thread about this month or so ago. Wish I could be specific and hate to see you doing it in the rain.
Usually just spraying the button and working it 'around' from the outside will do the trick, but I quess yours must really be jammed. Good Luck.
You have to pry the door light out with the screwdriver as described above. I think it goes down but might be mistaken. There will be two screws behind that and then around the bottom of the door there are pop in buttons on my 95 and screws on my 86. Good luck
I pryed downward at the top of the light, and the whole middle assembly broke loose. Look for that one hidden screw in the middle...I think you already got it.

I think the light itself restricts removal. And, the light slides sideways into the lens. If you can get your hand back there and slide it out, you'll be totally free. Otherwise, my first removal was scary as I yanked it out of the lens. Broke it a little, but still enough plastic left to allow re-mounting.
As with most door panels, you also have to lift the panel to get it free at the top.
Start with the Passenger door 1st. It is the hardest...
The top of your handle attaches to a plate, this plate is then connected to the door by a screw located under the electric window switch. Remove the electric window switch by prying it out. To pull the panel you will see all the exposed screws except for 1 under the lock lever (just pry up on the front and it pops off), 1 under the door light (just pry on the top), and 1 under the window switch just pull the window switch out by prying on the sides,
So... There total screws there is about 5 on the bottom, 2 in the bottom of the door handle pull, 3 in the inside door latch (1 hidden under light, 1 hidden under lock lever, 1 you can see). 1 on the end on the door panel. Lastly, 1 under the electric window switch
Hope this make sense. Here's some picture too... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...engerfinal.jpg http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...nger1final.jpg

Pretty straightforward, just remove the screws you can see. Don’t forget the one inside the handle and the one by the hatch release. Then pry out the courtesy light using a small flat blade screwdriver – there is one hiding there. Next, pull the lock **** forward (unlocked position), place the same screw driver behind the front edge and pry to you (thanks 65Z01). Push the rod up slightly and remove the screw behind it. Note that on the PS door there is a bolt behind the power window switch. Use a small amount of RTV in the socket to keep it from dropping inside the door. The procedure was done on my 91. Adjustments should be made for other years.
