I remember seeing in one of the catalogs (couldn't find it last night) some sort of thing that leaves your hatch up a little bit while you drive so that your don't get as much wind buffeting.
Anyone have any experience with it? Now that top off season is here, I might be interested if it works.
I suppose you may know, but the owner's manual warns against this because carbon monoxide can be drawn in from the tailpipes and poison you.
Maybe if you were driving in reverse. If you are moving forward the Venturi principle takes over and draws air out. I believe the owners manual also says not to exeed 55 MPH
I like the way Gadgetman's hatch thing looks....much better thought out than some others I've looked at but....
The light panel gets dirty from "reversion" or a dead air space at the back of the car so could that trap exhaust gases and could they get to the interior from there??? I know my car gets dirt in the lic plate shelf and the lights and the back panel, verticle face and even on the edge behind the gas door. Am I being too cautious, looking for things that don't exist???
To all you guys worried about gases getting into the car. 10 c4s in our groop, we all run with the hatch poped up. I love the thing. None of us have noticed any bad smell or bad effects from useing them. I also like the extra sound I hear from the pipes

I ordered mine last Friday (5/5/06). It came in the mail today! I wasn't expecting it so soon coming all the way from Ontario. Great product and fast shipping.
I got mine yesterday and it took less than a minute to install. Took it for a test drive and was very suprised at the differnce. That wind buffeting noise when the roof is off is gone. Plus, the car looks just fine with it installed.
My advice to anyone thinking about getting one....get it.
