Question about the 40th Anniv. Ruby Red
I have seen other 93s and they have the stitching, but I don't remember the badges on the fenders.
Dual power sport seats, Ruby Red.
Chrome emblems on hood, gas lid cover, sides.
Center wheel hub-Ruby inserts.
40th embroidery on seat head rest.

Also of interest, if the Ruby Anniversary Package happened to appeal to you back in 1993, it would have been a wise choice for the extra $1,455.00 in terms of resale value. Here's why: In the August 2001 edition of Corvette Fever Magazine there is a buying/price guide. As per this guide, if your Ruby is in Fair condition you can add $1,350.00 to it's value for the Anniv. package.
If your Ruby is in Good condition you can add $2,675.00 to it's value, and if your Ruby is in Excellent condition you can add $4,000.00 to it's value.
So all things being equal, the Anniversary cars will always bring more in terms of resale value than another '93.
That sounds pretty good! Guess I need to pickup a copy of Corvette Fever.
Say, I noticed your mileage. Of the few Ruby owners I've talked to, all have quite a bit of mileage. It's neat to see another Ruby with low miles. Of course, all Corvettes are meant to be driven and not just stored and towed around on trailers.
:D   :blueangel:
I am the 3rd owner of the car and have not really had it for all that long (about 8 months). I drive it when I can; usually to shows, cruises, or club events. Truthfully, it sees more garage time than road time, but I also enjoy knowing that it is safe and sound in the garage.
Detailing the car is very relaxing for me, so I spend alot of time with it in that sense as well. I took a look at your web page and your Ruby ragtop - it's beautiful, I'm sure you enjoy it very much. :yesnod:
Have a great weekend all!
If that car is in excellent condition, then the dealer isn't too far off the mark. I assume it's a ragtop. Does it have the hardtop? Is it a six speed or auto? FX-3?, etc. Options need to be considered as well.
I watch the price on these cars alot. While I did not purchase my car as an investment, I do have an interest in where they stand in the market. At this time they are holding very strong in their price.
You may want to log onto the 40th Anniv. Registry site as there are several Rubies for sale there - something may catch your eye.
And to finally answer your question, I paid $26,000 for my car. It came with the original window sticker, original buildsheet, maintenance records, etc. I have since put a good amount of money into the car as far as rims, battery, embroidered floor mats, etc.
Good luck in your search!!
