Default brake vents

i have a friend that has an early model C4 and wants to get the brake vents that have more than just the two slits in it. doesnt someone make a brake vent body peice for early model corvettes that has about 4 or 5 slits? where would he buy one?

I assume that you are talking about the "gills" just in front of the lower part of the doors. If so, they aren't brake vents. They are actually intended to vent heat from under the hood. I don't know of any aftermarket panels with 4 or 5 louvers.

There is someone here on CF that has some 4 louvered gill panels but,
I believe those were custom made.

I thought callaway made them or someone like that? anybody know where i can get something like this?

I'm 1/2 way there I know what your talking about. They are down on the air dam in front of each wheel.

i'm not sure what your talking about but try www acivette.com they have neat stuf i have aci big mouth spoiler on mine (look left) its really good quallity i added the brake duct holes my self

That is Exactly what I want. I tried doing a search for Vanacours and couldnt find a website to order those from. Do you know of a site that sells their stuff?

They are mostly cosmetic and not brake ducts and will do nothing to cool your brakes.

Somehow, I don't think 1996 is as interesting in brake cooling as he is in "the look".

Yeah. i looked through that site but didnt see exactly what i was looking for. I guess i would have to call them and see if they have what i want.

i tried vanacorvette and couldnt find them there. i talked to a guy at a show that had them and he saod he got them through ecklers but i couldnt find them on the site there. and more suggestions?
