I should have the dash from a 91 within the next couple of weeks and don't plan on starting until Dec of this year..
As others said it may cost too much.. but when you spent as much as I have on my current vette.. the swap is cheaper then selling and starting over again
Didn't a guy in Vermont or Connecticut do this also?
Yep Vtvette on the forum. although he kept the wiring from the older dash and did a complete custom job. He alos used Autometer Phantom Gauges in place of the newer cluster. I thought of this also, it might be easier.. I have not really fully decided yet

I know I'm probably reading this wrong, but did you say that the conversion is costing you ~$600? If so then that's not so crazy in my book...
Is that using new or used parts? Does it include door panels?
That's really cool! If I ever did this it wouldn't be soon but it's really interesting...
Used parts, Door panels not included at that price.. you need to do some creative looking.. I got my door panels in the color I wanted for $50 for the pair
