Conduct-Tite 85835
1/2" socket to convert your early digital dash bulbs from 882 halogens to standard 194's

Ecklers also sells them.

Also, 882 bulbs are brighter than the 194s, but burn hotter also. My 85 had burn marks on the board and color gel after 20 years with them, but this hasn't caused any problems yet.

The 882 bulb+socket can be had from Kragen/Checker/Schucks for $2.69 (west coast price) plus shipping. All the other sources are about $7-10 each.

Damn, thats cheap - maybe you could do a bulb package like you do the bolt package - east coast doesnt have those stores

I'm contemplating doing another bolt sell, since I need to put two more TPIs together this year. I'm gonna search around and see if there's any cheaper suppliers.

So I just ordered (20) 882 bulbs. I'm pretty sure they come with sockets. Came out to $3 each after tax and shipping. That's good for 5 dashboards. I'll post when they show up.

it cost me $40 to do the sockets and 882's last year - with shipping from advanced auto.

keep me in the loop when your going to order the supplies for the bolt kit - I may have a special req or 2 for allen sockets (ball end) - once I get my head on straight I'll know what sizes Im looking for.
