Hi guys, I goofed big time. I went to Napa, and was looking around for an interior dye. When the guy behind teh counter reccomend this dye that is in a rattle can, I hesitated because I've seen spraypainted interiors before But he insisted it would work fine. I got home, sprayed the center console lid, and what do you know it came out fine. Then I moved to the center vent stack, and as soon as the paint hit the plastic it instantly bubbled up and looked like crap. I did wash the plastic before I did it with a heavy degreaser and then soap and water, but it still bubbled. Now it looks like ****, and I dont know what to do. How do you guys restore black plastic? The reason I painted it was because it was starting to get very faded. Thanks!

Honestly, on my dull black pieces in my 85, I just give them a once over every week with armor all on a napkin. Looks fine; just have to keep my windows closed all the time when I'm not driving. Gets dusty faster otherwise.
