www.craigslist.org (bay area) has a listing for a 1990 "King of the Hill" LT5 with 59k miles for $7000.00

 

That has to be a mis-print! Unless it's the Z that went swimming last year at Englishtown? Don't remember seeing the VIN on that car but there is a thread in the ZR1 section. Car was under up to the roof, and the motor hydro-locked I think.

 

Hard to imagine ...but worth a look I think...maybe even a carfax check ..

Actually that was a cache of the site taken on May 16, if you read at the top under the Google stuff. It said ends May 22, which would have been 6 days from May 16. So it's now ended, but I wonder how many bids it got towards the end of its run...I will check it out!

I had a boat on Boat Trader and got the same SCAM. "I am in UK and will send you a check for more than the boat, please send me the difference." Thi s SCAM is older than me!

 

When I was selling my motorcycle I got the same scam except they wanted me to accept 10,000 then meet up with their buddy and give them the differance and the bike. I got that scam about 4 times during its listing. I was like, are people dumb or what?

Next time yall get this type of scam email you need to tell him that it sounds like a great deal. Then have them send the money order\check. It cost them a great deal to send the money orders. Check out this web site...
