Default '84 Seat replacement

Well, I got my new seats from Mid-America. My wife and I took last Saturday morning and did the install. Old seats were leather. I decided, because of the price I would install the vinyl instead. Boy, what a difference. Not so much the vinyl, but the amount of foam. My head almost touches the roof with the seat all the way down and leaning the back. They're pretty hard too. I guess it will take a few miles to break them in. But, they sure look good.

The price was $783.98 includes delivery, no tax. I bought them from Mid America. They actually manufacture them for the other suppliers.

I just rec'd mine last week from willcox, vinyl mounted on new foams. There were corvette america labels on the box. Willcox had best price , they sell on ebay as well , thats where I bought mine. They look really good , I didnt want to go leather in my DD. Craig

I bought a set of the vinyl look alikes mounted covers from Willcox in November. They looked perfect. I think they were 655.00 for the set. I got an email from them two days ago telling me their new site was now working.

Gotta agree about the head hittin' the roof. The same happened to me with my new seats with new foam.

I had a local guy do mine which included both seats redone black with silver piping new foam in each seat and the console recovered for $550.

Great update for our cars.
