These cars are everything and more than what folks have said! It pulls up long mountain grades like a freight train.
I met several folks here who know the car and have told me what a nice one I have bought. Brandt (former owner) actually puts his Corvettes on a lift he has in his house and details the undarcarriage.
I took it to a local muffler shop here in Bowling Green for a Mobil1 change. Adam Boca here at the NCM recommended the place cause they do his C4 and they do not use a lift.
The guy down in the pit hollers up - "Is this a new car? You could eat off the undercarriage!"
Suddenly I'm not sure if I am worthy of this beautiful Corvette!
I stopped about an hour out of Brandt's house on my way to BG and the local Waffle House emptied out and all had to come and look at the car. Evidently Georgia is giving away a new red C6 as a Lotto prize. They could not tell it was a 10 year old car and thought I had won the Lotto! One of the 30-something waitress' even offered to go along with me on my trip to where ever I was going! I have had people roll down their windows at a stop and tell me what a beauty she is.
I am floating on air here!
Cruise In is as great as they have built it up to be. The Corvette brethren here are awesome. I am having a great time! Wish I did not have to be at work again on Sunday!

Edit: Gordon Killebrew is here and I had him show me how to reset the oil change light on the car. He looked it over good and said, "This is obviously a garage kept car and has been mainteined superbly - it looks brand new!" I'm about 3 feet off the pavement down here in Kaintucky!
