Radio Help!
I went out to move my car this morning, and out of just instinct i turned the parking lights on, then turned the radio power dial to about halfway. I start backing out and I hear nothing. Turned it ALL the way up, and my music sounds like a whisper! When I pulled in last night, which was about 12-1 in the morning everything was working fine, nice and loud. Now i can barely hear it. It sounds like music is only coming from the drivers side foot speaker. I was playing with the fade and when i put it all in the back, NOTHING! So maybe I have something wrong with the wiring? I was just checking in to see if anybody has had this happen to them before, or could maybe know whats wrong. TIA!

Did the antenna come up? If not, then you just don't have a radio signal large enough to provide normal audio. If it did come up the antenna jack in the rear of the radio may have backed out and needs plugging in. The AM section is more sensitive to broken antenna problems, so if you can recieve FM but not AM, you may have antenna problems. If no antenna problems, then you have to do some diagnosing. I don't know about your 90, but my 87 has amplifiers at each speaker and if the speaker amps don't have 12v, then all you will hear is the small audio power from the radio that drives the amps. If that isn't it, then the radio needs to be worked on.
