Finally got the front lowered and it looks great However, now I need to get it aligned. Just called a recommended local align. shop and since it has been lowered (its sits about 1"lower than stock), they claimed it may not make it onto their rack. They told me a stock C4/C5 sits so low in stock trim, it barely makes it. To all my lowered C4er's, has anyone run into this when you got yours aligned?
My stock '87 sat lower as it was. When I had it aligned, they put 2 2x10 boards on the front of the drive-on rack so I could clear it. Once on the rack they raised the car and placed another set of jacks, which were part of the rack, raised the car further on these and did the alignment.

Nah, I haven't had a problem. My Firestone down the road is able to get it on the rack just fine.
So you said that you lowered the front, did you lower the back too?
Yes the front and the rear are lowered, the whole car dropped about at least an inch. I cant wait to get it aligned...when I dropped the rear, the camber is messed up bad, the rear tires are toed in under the wells. Pics are coming...I going to download them tonite.
