They look under my car with a mirror, checking for the presence of somethjing that looks like cats. Don't know it they really know what they are looking for. But, I can't recall if they look under the OBDII cars with their mirror because I never paid attention to that. It seems to me they don't but I couldn't swear to it. They do not sniff the pipes of OBDII cars.
