Digital dash cluster
I had some sort of a short that was drawing my battery dead every couple of days. It was traced to my ac/heater control, which is being replaced. The mechanic also said my cluster is drawing power when the car is off also. I thought the cluster always did draw some power but not enough to bother the battery. Is this correct. He wants to put a kill switch on the cluster. The cluster is working fine.

Don't know the answer to your question but i too have had my battery go dead on 3 occasions over the last month and when I would charge it up to get iot started the air conditioner would be on when it finally started. I chalked it up to coincidence but maybe not, Hmmmmmm

On my 89, I have had my battery die a couple times. It is usually good for about a month before I have to put a charge to it. I know when I have disconnected the battery, my AC turns on as well.
